The Roots

Annemieke starts sailing at the age of 12. She turned out not only to possess a great talent but above all an enormous drive. She took part in the Olympics three times. In Athens 2004 they just missed the podium with a 4th place but in Beijing 2008 they won the silver medal in the Yngling class. At the London 2012 she made it to the quarter finals. She was looking for a new adventure and in 2018 her Ocean Race dream came true.
